I live in Newton with my husband and three children. I've been located in the Newton area for over 20 years, having graduated from Boston College and then Boston College Law School. I was an attorney in Boston until deciding to be home full time with my kids. While home, I wrote children's books and published them through a company I founded called Inspire Our Kids. My mission was to enrich underprivileged children by donating my books to various local charities. In the past two years, I've given over 1,600 books to kids in need. I have a passion to help and work with children. Through Dollar Scholars, I'm able to bring my passion and creative background together to teach a fun and engaging curriculum to children.

A lifelong resident in the Boston area I have worked for over 15 years in business, non-profit and political advocacy. Throughout my career I have always looked for opportunities that allow me to have a social impact and to be entrepreneurial. Before staying home to raise my three children, I worked for a non-profit, Boston Partners in Education, to close the literacy gap in the Boston Public schools. While at Boston Partners I developed, secured funding, and managed a reading program for middle school students throughout the city. Raising my three kids has made me passionate about early education. Teaching kids about money is the perfect vehicle to get kids thinking broadly about how to make good choices.
